Surfing

Yorke Peninsula's surf is rapidly becoming well known on the world stage with many major surfing and body boarding competitions held here.

The southwest corner of Yorke Peninsula is one of Australia's great surfing drawcards. It boasts a number of excellent surfing spots to suit board riders of every skill level.

If you enjoy surfing, you will love surfing the beaches of Pondalowie Bay, Daly Head and Berry Bay.

In 2013, Daly Head became the first dedicated National Surfing Reserve on Australia's southern coast, cementing its place as a word class surfing destination.
