Located in the small farming town of Bute is the beautifully restored Gunner Bill’s Gallery, full of quality craft and art. Open Wednesday 10am to 3pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Formerly the Bute Police Station, the building was opened in 1911 and consisted of a residence for the Police Officer and his family, a courthouse, cells and horse stables. Incorporated into the Gallery is the Historical Museum which houses police memorabilia and the history of Yorke Peninsula Swagmen.
