From beachside caravan parks to bush camping spots, Yorke Peninsula has plenty of camping options at some of the most beautiful coastal and inland areas.
The caravan parks on Yorke Peninsula are set up not only for caravanners or those in cabins, but also have excellent facilities for camping and camper trailers.
Bush camping is available - from The Gap, and south along the western coastline and under the foot to Goldsmith’s Beach. All camping locations can be viewed online.
Of the coastal camping spots looked after by council, only Burners Beach, Gleeson’s Landing and The Gap offer toilet facilities. Camp fires are permitted, provided there is no fire ban; but make sure you’re aware of current fire regulations.
Innes National Park has plenty of camping options at Browns Beach, Cable Bay, Casuarina, Gym Beach, Pondalowie Bay, Shell Beach and Stenhouse Bay. Camping permits for Innes National Park must be purchased online or at the Natural Resources Centre at the park.
Hillocks Drive is one of the best known natural bushcamping locations on Yorke Peninsula, with 7km of scenic coastline.
