Adelaide to Port Vincent

Travel through the scenic Samphire Coast, and experience just some of Yorke Peninsula's 700 kilometres of beautiful coastline, before arriving at Port Vincent.

On the way to Yorke Peninsula from Adelaide, drop in at numerous coastal townships to experience the magnificent Samphire Coast, with an interpretative centre located at Middle Beach.  

Dine at a country pub or café in historic Port Wakefield and stroll along the once thriving wharf area.  Stop in at Port Clinton and Price to see the abundance of bird life, with the mangroves a haven for all types of wildlife.  

Visit a bakery in Ardrossan, and get a bird's eye view just south of the town at the lookout for stunning panoramic views across the gulf.  Turn off the main coast road and venture into Black Point, one of the hidden treasures of the area.  

Enjoy the peaceful ambience of Port Vincent and the sun setting across the bay while you dine at one of Port Vincent’s eateries or simply enjoy delicious fish and chips on the beach.
