Yorke Peninsula Tourism is the key regional organisation responsible for increasing the profile of the Yorke Peninsula tourism region.
Yorke Peninsula Tourism works closely with key stakeholders and lead agencies, in particular the South Australian Tourism Commission, District Council of the Copper Coast, Yorke Peninsula Council, Regional Development Australia - Yorke & Mid North, South Australian Tourism Industry Council and industry to further develop and market the region.
Yorke Peninsula Tourism's aim is to integrate the region's unique, diverse mix of coast, culture, heritage, unspoilt nature and rural communities, to develop the destination and increase visitation and yield.
Yorke Peninsula Tourism strives to get the most out of every opportunity, to strengthen partnerships and maximise cooperative activities.
Yorke Peninsula Tourism is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation with 1 full time and 1 part time staff. The Yorke Peninsula Tourism committee comprises representatives of local government, tourism industry, and individuals with marketing and business skills, knowledge of the tourism industry and a strategic planning focus from throughout the region.
Everyone is encouraged to get behind the Yorke Peninsula brand and use the Yorke Peninsula logo wherever and whenever you can.
For example: on your website, Facebook page or other social media, brochures, publications, Yorke Peninsula produce & craft, advertising and marketing, uniforms, signage...and the list goes on.
You just need to you complete the logo request form, a very simple task, and get approval from Yorke Peninsula Tourism prior to using it, and adhere to the brand guidelines.
Yorke Peninsula Tourism creates and implements an annual business plan.
The plan is aligned with the Yorke Peninsula Destination Action Plan and the South Australian Tourism Plan to ensure that the region maximises opportunities.
To help keep industry up to date with what’s happening, development, media and marketing opportunities, the monthly Yorke Peninsula e-newsletter is produced
