With four bedrooms – two queens, two singles, two singles – Shakona can sleep up to eight guests; with quilts, blankets, and pillows provided, bring your own linen.

The main bathroom has a shower only, with a separate toilet. Great for two families sharing, two bedrooms on either side of the lounge.

The lounge room is spacious with reverse cycle split system air-conditioning and a combustion heater; guests will need to bring their own wood for heating. There are also portable heaters for the bedrooms.

There is a large television with USB port in the lounge room, as well as a DVD player; plus a second television, iPod docking station, CD player, radio, and board games in the dining room/sunroom.

The Kitchen has a number of appliances supplied for guests, including an electric frypan, grill, sandwich press, and mixer. Electric stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, and coffee plunger (bring your own ground coffee).

A washing machine and a second large fridge/freezer for drinks and bait. Undercover parking and room for a boat. There’s also a fish cleaning area.

Two-night minimum stay applies. Booking (twenty-five dollars) and cleaning fee (seventy dollars) apply, payable directly to Country Getaways following an online booking being made.
