Port Clinton

Port Clinton is the northern most town on the east coast of Yorke Peninsula, with wide sandy beaches that are perfect for crabbing, fishing and relaxing.

Situated 125 kilometres from Adelaide, it is one of those small seaside towns that most people warm to on sight.

Port Clinton is a peaceful town that is the perfect place to go if you want to get away from it all. Surrounded by a conservation park and mangroves, Port Clinton is rich in birdlife and the perfect location to see nature's wonders.

The mangroves help keep the marine life cycles turning, providing plenty of shelter and making it the perfect nursery for fish.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
