Yorke Peninsula offers the perfect escape for those seeking to recharge and get out in nature. And that is exactly what Hayley did in Episode 18 of Hello SA.

With a mission to blend adventure with wellness she explored the stunning coastal landscapes of the region.

Here’s what she got up to:

Paddle your way to adventure

Hayley’s first stop was Corny Point, where she met Max, the owner and operator of Neptunes. Max is your go-to guy for all things coastal adventure. He equipped Hayley with everything she needed for a day of outdoor fun in the sea.

The adventure kicked off with paddleboarding, where Hayley took to the water like a seasoned pro and got to see some friendly stingrays gliding beneath her board.

Neptunes offers more than just paddleboarding; they have everything you need for a full coastal experience. From surfing lessons to sunrise and sunset paddleboarding tours, Max has thought of it all. And if the weather's on the cooler side, they've even got long-sleeved wetsuits available for hire to keep you warm.

Chill out in Wallaroo

Next, Hayley travelled to Wallaroo to meet Jess, the owner of Wellness on Yorkes. Jess is your go-to for everything wellness-related. She offers a wide range of services, from personal training and nutrition advice to breathwork classes and wellness retreats.

Hayley spent a sunny afternoon by the beach, diving into the world of breathwork with Jessica. With the sound of waves in the background and the fresh sea breeze filling her lungs, she finally understood what all the breathwork hype was about. It's the perfect way to hit pause on life and focus on yourself, something that we’re sure we could all use a little more of.

But Hayley didn't stop there. She followed her breathwork session with an ice bath, and let us tell you...it’s not for the faint-hearted! But the icy plunge left her feeling refreshed, alive and ready to take on the world!

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
