What to do in Ardrossan - with Adelady and HelloSA

Just 90 minutes from Adelaide is the charming Yorke Peninsula town of Ardrossan, a fantastic family holiday destination with great fishing and crabbing and a relaxed atmosphere.

Recently Hayley from Adelady explored this charming town for a episode of HelloSA. You can watch the Ardrossan episode here!

This charming tiny tourism town has so much to offer. Here's a break down of Hayley's Ardrossan itinerary featured on HelloSA:

A blue swimmer crab adventure with Catch N Cook World Tour

First up on Hayley’s itinerary was a hands-on blue swimmer crab adventure with Kim from Catch N Cook World Tour.

The Catch N Dine Experience involves learning the basics of crabbing and then having a go yourself. Once you’ve caught a catch of crabs, you’ll head to the Ardrossan Hotel Motel where the chefs will cook up a fresh feast for you using your catch. Suitable for ages 6 and up, this experience promises fun for the whole family! Book your Catch N Dine experience here.

Cook up a storm with Grazing Yorkes cooking classes

Hayley then got creative in the kitchen with a cooking class by Grazing Yorkes. Emily from Grazing Yorkes came to Hayley’s villa for a DIY picnic lunch cooking class. After cooking up a storm in the villa kitchen together, Hayley and Emily savoured their creations with a picnic lunch at the beautiful Apex Park.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
