The Coobowie estuary is home to a fascinating array of birdlife. Nestled at the edge is a wonderful bird hide to enable you to watch our feathered friends go about their business. You will also be able to sit and watch the Osprey nest in their new Osprey platform installed in June 2023.

Arm yourself with a complementary brochure available from Coobowie Caravan Park or the Coobowie Shop, to assist in identification of the species and spend a leisurely few hours in the great outdoors. You can also walk around to Edithburgh via the walking trail.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
