The Local History Room, located within the Copper Coast Library Kadina, holds an extensive collection of material relating to the history of the Yorke Peninsula. People interested in genealogy research will find many tools available to assist with their research. Access is available free of charge during normal library hours.

You will find a range of resources including: birth, death and marriage registers for the County of Daly, biographical indexes, reference materials, cemetery records and archives relating to the district.

Volunteers from the Yorke Peninsula Family History Group are able to assist with history research and enquiries on Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm and Wednesdays from 2pm to 4pm. Whilst entry to the room is free, a fee applies for this assistance.
<p>Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)</p><p>Caters for people who use a wheelchair.</p>
