Pitts Cutting Lookout

Yorke Peninsula

ATDW pixel
Situated just of Klein Point Road, between Stansbury and Klein's Point Quarry, Pitts Cutting provides a picturesque view of the less well known southern Stansbury beach, known by locals as 'The Back Beach'.

Park your car at the bottom of the hill, and then a short 20 metre hike up hill, reveals the magnificent panorama.

A seat has been placed for visitors to stop and enjoy the view for awhile, or for those that are more energetic, they can continue on down the Stansbury Walk Trail, which will lead you back to the township.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
