Studio Surf is a small coastal gallery and café in the seaside town of Marion Bay on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.

The gallery showcases original coastal artwork by local artists, including paintings and mixed-media works by owner and artist Jason Swales, handmade ocean-inspired jewellery by Jasmine Swales, and selected works by other local artists.

With a strong connection to the ocean and the local coastline, Studio Surf is a relaxed place to browse art, enjoy quality barista coffee and have a chat about the stories, places and inspiration behind the work. Jason is known for his coastal paintings and large-scale murals, and visitors are welcome to chat with him about his work or discuss a commission of a favourite beach or surf break.

Studio Surf offers indoor and outdoor seating and is a welcoming stop for visitors exploring Marion Bay and the southern Yorke Peninsula.

They are a small, owner-operated gallery, so if Jason is away painting a mural or enjoying a day on the water, the gallery may be closed. Visitors are encouraged to call ahead to confirm opening hours or arrange a visit.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
