The Moving Murals aims to engage viewers, especially young audiences and art enthusiasts, by turning static murals into interactive experiences. Created by local artists, the murals highlight Warooka's cultural heritage and natural beauty.
Mural 1. Water Tank – Under A Jetty includes three trigger images: Shark Totem (Nharangga), Underwater Diving Journey and a glimpse about the Artists.
Mural 2. Foodworks Wall – SYP Native Landscape also includes three trigger images: Rewilding Story, Brush-tailed Bettong (Yalgiri), Goanna / Mallee fowl.
Mural 3. Warooka Hardware wall – The Coast between the scrub and the water. No trigger images are included in this mural, pending funding. Featuring the Nautilus Shell, Osprey, Coastal Saltbush, Plovers, Oyster Catchers and a Sea Eagle.
Lead artist Jasmine Swales collaborated with local artists including Jason Swales, Rachelle Plazeriano, Lianne Cook, Steve Renfrey, Steph Ball, Harley Hall (Indigenous artwork), Liam Smith (sound), Orlando Mee (animations), Warooka Primary School students, and Uni SA Creative team members Ben Stubbs and Kim Munro for the Augmented Reality designs and app.
