Gynburra is a 2 day celebration of the Narungga people reinforcing the importance of spiritual and cultural connection to the lands. Gynburra invites everyone in the community to celebrate Narungga culture on Friday 24 & Saturday 25 January, 2025.

Friday 24 January - Family fun day, kids activities, stage entertainment, stall holders, food vans and cultural activities. Kids movie night at Memorial Hall on Main street starting 7pm.

Saturday 25 January - Clem Graham Memorial Butterfish Competition launching from Port Victoria Boat ramp at 7.30am (for men/boys). Women's pamper day, stage entertainment, kids' entertainment, food vans, cultural activities followed by competition presentations and fireworks at 9.15pm from the Port Victoria Jetty.

Please note: The Port Victoria Jetty will be closed from 2pm on-wards on Saturday 25 January to accommodate the fireworks set up.
