The Kadina Show Society annually holds a Swap Meet and Show and Shine on the Sunday of the King's Birthday long weekend in June. It provides the space for members of the community from across the State of South Australia and from Interstate to sell off those secondhand items, items that are their trash but maybe a treasure to another person.
Sellers set up and sell their items from car boots, trailers, tables, even on the ground and ranges from old car and motorbike parts, to secondhand goods to books, plants, anything that may longer be of use to the seller but may find anew home with a buyer.
AS well there is a Show and Shine display of cars and motorbikes ranging from makes such as Ford and Holden to Classics to some that are dressed up for show. Also competitions are run and prizes awarded for numerous categories.
