Yorke Peninsula

Free
Port Broughton Christmas Festival is the largest Christmas celebration on the Yorke Peninsula. During the festival, Port Broughton's main street and town tree become some of the most Instagrammable spots of the season.

The event will offer a variety of family-friendly activities, including a Christmas Street Party with food trucks, stalls, and children's entertainment; a Christmas Pageant; and Santa's Cave at the Town Hall, where families can meet Santa and take free photos.
Sensory sessions are also available at Santa's Cave—please check Barunga West Council's Facebook page for details.

In the evening, the Lighting of the Tree features a sing-along with carols, followed by the tree lighting display.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
