This holiday season, we’re excited to offer a special Sensory-Friendly Santa Experience designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other sensory processing challenges. In a relaxed, welcoming environment, kids and their families can meet Santa without the usual hustle and bustle of crowded spaces.

Scheduled to follow the Port Broughton Christmas Festival, children and families can meet Santa in a serene and sensory-adjusted setting to make sure everyone is included in the holiday season during our exclusive Sensory Hour.

Hosted by the Barunga West Council and supported by our wonderful volunteers, this event offers a calm and safe setting where children can enjoy the magic of Christmas on their own terms. Santa will be there to share festive cheer, and our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to assist, ensuring that every child is welcomed with kindness and understanding.

To ensure everyone has a wonderful time, we kindly ask you to contact Council and book your preferred time. 8635 2107 Don't miss out on the joy and festive cheer—reserve your spot today!

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
