Wallaroo Kite Festival

Yorke Peninsula

The Wallaroo Kite Festival is a free, family-friendly community event designed to bring people together through the joy of kite flying. Held on North Beach, Wallaroo, the festival will celebrate creativity, outdoor fun, and community spirit.

Highlights include some truly amazing displays from the Adelaide Kite Flying Association! You can also find kites for sale, enjoy the decorating station for creating your own kite designs, and indulge in a variety of food options.

They hope to inspire wonder, connection, and shared experiences under the open sky.

The Yorke Peninsula is the traditional lands of the Narungga (Nharangga) people, who have lived on, and cared for, this country since the beginning of time. We work, live and travel on Nharannga Banggara [Country], and we take time away from those pursuits to acknowledge and pay our deep respects to the Nharangga Elders of the past and present.

Today, it is essential that we continue to care for and protect our spectacular natural environment. Tread lightly and leave no trace. Learn more about responsible and respectful travel on Yorke Peninsula.
