Remembering our history by looking back over the last 150 years whilst celebrating our community, capacity and future. An invitation to come to the Warooka Oval to watch children play some games on the oval whilst others can review past model cars & bikes, including watching blacksmiths and SES demonstrations and a bowls pennants game from 2 - 4pm.
Down main street look through the museum including the new displays in the back shed, see the photography display at the town hall. Be the judge of the Warooka School student colouring competition by hidden voting. Have your photo taken with a 2000 Sydney Olympic torch and walk the Warooka history trail including new scavenger hunt for young and old.
Three of the history trail: Warooka School, Ballara Lifesytle Retreat, Town Hall and Museum have a new addition, some new movie content via a UR code located on the history sign, created by students at the Warooka Primary School - see these sites through their eyes and marvel at their movie making skill.
At 4pm music starts at the Warooka triangle with various food vans. The official welcome and ribbon cutting to the commemorative path occurs at 5pm, so walk the path and look for family members including past Warooka District Councillors.
