Mega Murals
Bute silo mural
Featuring loads of colour and depictions of local agriculture, flora & fauna, the Bute silo mural was created by artists Scott Nagy & Krimsone. Community consultation provided the priorities for the design, with the artwork representing women in country areas, local orchids in flower, birdlife including a Rainbow Bee-eater and Blue Wren, and the Bute Railway Station. Head to Railway Terrace or Martin Street for the best locations for viewing this colourful mural.
Kadina Water Tower mural
The Water Tower next to the old Kadina Railway Station on Frances Terrace, has a fresh look as it overlooks the central business area. With a nod to the regions origins, the mural depicts a young maypole dancer holding wheat sheafs and copper reflecting the Cornish history, along with a stream engine representing the rail line that once ran alongside the tower, plus poppies signifying a memorial to fallen soldiers.
Port Vincent Water Tower
The Port Vincent Water Tower tells the story of Port Vincent, inspired the town’s history, boating, fishing, beach & family fun in the design created by artist Joel Van Moore & Elizabeth Close, painted by Camilo Delgado & Jasmine Crisp. Comprising past, present and future elements, the design reflects the heart of Port Vincent along with Narungga people’s connection to the land and coast.

Gallery 1871, Port Broughton
Established by the Barunga West Art Committee, Gallery 1871 is an art space for ongoing exhibitions and art workshops for adults and children.
Salty Art Studio, Moonta Bay
Offering a wide range of artworks and creations made from beachcombing finds, Salty Art Studio has something for everyone. The art created by this local artist includes paintings, rusty wire work, ghost rope, woven coastal vessels, recycled fishing rope coiled bowls, papier mache bowls, driftwood creations, wall hangings, and natural fibre/woven vessels.
Studio Surf, Marion Bay
Featuring artworks by owner/artist Jason Swales and other local Yorke Peninsula & South Australian artists, this art gallery café is nestled in the heart of Marion Bay. With a common theme of ocean, coastal scenery and surf, the artworks on display feature a range of mediums including acrylics on canvas, glass art, jewellery, pastel paintings and other mixed media.

Ballara Art & Lifestyle Retreat, Warooka
From art workshops for adults & children, to artist in residency programs, or hosted photography tour; Ballara offers plenty of opportunity for exploring creativity. Within the complex, the Ballara Gallery showcases local art and photography.
Mosaic Trail, Edithburgh
A shared art project proposed by local mosaic artist Trudie Howirth, this 4 kilometre walking trail between Edithburgh & Sultana Point features 94 nautical themed mosaics created by Trudie and community members.
Fairy Door Trail, Kadina
Follow the Fairy Door Trail through Kadina’s CBD, with fun colourful fairy doorways to be found at footpath height of many businesses.
